McDonald’s Ad Reveals First Look at Danny Ramirez’s Falcon in Captain America: Brave New World

A first look at Danny Ramirez as the Falcon has been revealed in a new McDonald’s promotional advertisement for the upcoming film Captain America: Brave New World. The tie-in poster features Ramirez suited up as the MCU’s new Falcon, complete with a predominantly green suit, helmet, and mechanical wings.

Ramirez first appeared as Joaquín Torres in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series on Disney+. In the upcoming Captain America movie, he will take on the mantle of Falcon after Sam Wilson, played by Anthony Mackie, gifted him his damaged wings in the show’s penultimate episode.

The new Falcon also made an appearance in a McDonald’s toy ad from Brazil, alongside characters in minifigure form, including two versions of Captain America and Red Hulk. This hints at a possible transformation for Thaddeus Ross, played by Harrison Ford.

Kevin Feige and Anthony Mackie debuted the first footage at CinemaCon 2024. The film is expected to see Falcon and the Star-Spangled Avenger team up to take on Red Hulk, among other challenges. Plot details for Captain America: Brave New World are still under wraps.

Captain America: Brave New World is set to hit theaters on February 14, 2025, as part of the next wave of MCU movies after Deadpool & Wolverine. Follow IGN writer Adele Ankers on X/Twitter @AdeleAnkers.
