Kim Koro ’86 (JD), a distinguished leader in the technology industry, has been recognized as one of the Top 100 Women in Technology by Technology Magazine in 2024. This prestigious list highlights influential women who are driving momentum, innovation, and investment while also supporting underrepresented groups.

With over 35 years of experience at Qualcomm, Inc., Koro currently serves as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Qualcomm Government Technologies (QGOV). In this role, she works with government agencies at the federal, state, and local levels to apply advances in commercial wireless technology for mission performance. Koro’s focus is on driving innovation through public and private partnerships, particularly in areas such as advanced connectivity, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and edge computing.

As a member of USD’s Board of Trustees and Law School’s Board of Visitors, Koro is committed to giving back to her alma mater. In 2020, she received the USD School of Law’s Distinguished Alumni Award and established two endowed scholarships with her husband Mark to support law students with financial need, merit, and outstanding moral character. The impact of Koro’s leadership and philanthropy is evident in the opportunities created for future generations in the technology and legal fields.
