The University’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is celebrating its 45th anniversary this year. Established in 1979 at Saint Francis, the SBDC has been a valuable resource for small businesses in the region. As the executive director, Jeff Boldizar emphasizes the importance of helping clients navigate the process of starting a successful business.
The SBDC’s primary mission is to support businesses in the Southern Alleghenies area by assisting them in launching, growing, and prospering. Operating across Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Fulton, Huntington, and Somerset counties, the SBDC provides valuable guidance and resources to business owners.
