Dental Dilemmas and Dreams of a Better Future: Stories from Immigrants and Healthcare Providers at Israel’s Medical Fair

400 French Doctors Set to Migrate to Israel

In July, Michael, a surgeon, and his wife Carlin, a general practitioner, are excited to immigrate to Israel. They have been considering this move for a year and view the upcoming event as an opportunity to help them decide on where they will work once they arrive in Israel. Meanwhile, in September, “an animal,” a dentist who prefers to remain anonymous, plans to move to Israel. She hopes that the fair will provide her with clear information on potential opportunities in her field.

Goel Tutu, a dentist, and her husband Pascal, an engineer, expressed their decision to immigrate to Israel due to anti-Semitism they experienced in France since October 7. Living in a small town in France, they felt the hatred directed towards them and no longer consider France their home. Dr. Dov Albuquerque, VP of Medicine at Meuhedat Hospital Fund shared that their organization aims to become a home for immigrants. They hope that the fair will bring about positive changes and help in achieving this goal.
