Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America series: World Speed readies for competition with two strong pairs of drivers in the Pro-Am class

Sportscar365: World Speed Introduces Second Entry for Conwright and Aliabadi

Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America series is set to return next month at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, and World Speed is ready to compete with two strong pairs of drivers in the Pro-Am class. Jaden Conwright will be joining the team alongside Cam Aliabadi for the remaining season, after receiving the VMB Driver Development Scholarship in 2014 and winning the Formula Car Challenge FS championship. In 2022, he became the inaugural recipient of the IMSA Diverse Driver Development Scholarship, leading him to compete in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship GTD category with Lamborghini squad NTE Sport.

The 24-year-old Californian will be teaming up with Aliabadi, who also has experience in the one-make series after winning the 2021 Lamborghini Pilota Program. The new car for the second entry arrived a few weeks ago, and negotiations were finalized shortly after. The team prepared the car for racing, with Scott Huffaker conducting a test session at Sonoma last week. With two strong pairs of drivers in the Pro-Am class, World Speed is looking forward to showcasing their competitive edge at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.

World Speed’s newly added second entry joins its sister entry of Scott Huffaker and Courtney Crone, who made their debut in the season-opening rounds at Sebring International Raceway last month. Team principal Telo Stewart expressed his excitement for this addition to the roster, highlighting that both drivers bring competitiveness to the Pro-Am class. This adds more depth to World Speed’s lineup as they aim for success in this popular one-make series.
