Helena breweries dominate the 2024 World Beer Cup with multiple wins

Two Helena breweries, Lewis and Clark Brewing Co. and Copper Furrow Brewing, achieved remarkable success at the 2024 World Beer Cup, one of the most prestigious beer competitions globally. The competition recognizes international brewing excellence and was judged by a panel of 280 experts from 37 countries who evaluated 9,300 entries from 2,060 breweries in 50 countries.

Lewis and Clark won a gold medal for their Miner’s Gold Hefeweizen in the American Wheat Beer category, celebrating the hard-working miners of Montana. On the other hand, Copper Furrow received a bronze medal for their Tmavé Pivo, an international dark lager brewed in a labor-intensive manner.

The World Beer Cup is often referred to as “The Olympics of Beer” and is celebrated annually by The Brewers Association since its establishment in 1996. This year’s winners were recognized for their dedication to brewing quality and unique beers. Both Lewis and Clark and Copper Furrow put significant effort into crafting their award-winning beers.
