From Maternity Leave to World Cup: Tamara Tippler’s Return to Ski Racing.

Maternity leave over, Tippler returns to World Cup

Tamara Tippler, the 33-year-old speed specialist, has decided to return to the ski circuit and join the women’s World Cup team once again starting in May. After taking maternity leave nearly a year ago, she recently had her first racing experience of the year at the World Cup final in Saalbach.

As a mom, Tamara missed the thrill of competition and being back on skis. However, she knew that she needed to ensure that she could push herself to her limits once again before making a decision about returning to full-on racing. After training with her teammates and participating in Saalbach as a forerunner, Tamara realized that her passion for ski racing was still very much alive.

“I always had in mind to come back to the World Cup,” said Tamara. “I just needed to make sure that I could once again push myself to my limits in terms of speed.” She also knew that she needed to ensure that her daughter, Mia, would be well taken care of while traveling with the race team.

Tamara is determined to prove that as a mother, she can still excel in high-level sports and balance family and career successfully in professional sports. Head coach Roland Assinger expressed his support for Tamara’s decision, emphasizing her positive personality as a valuable asset to the team.

Tamara is excited about this new challenge and grateful for the opportunity to continue pursuing her passion for ski racing.
