The G7 Meeting on Environment, Energy, and Climate starts in Venaria

The G7 Environment, Energy, and Climate meeting is currently taking place at the Royal Palace of Venaria under the leadership of the Italian Presidency. The ministerial meeting began yesterday and will continue until tomorrow, with four sessions scheduled. The first session started at 10 am with a plenary session of the ministers followed by a work session focused on Climate and Energy. Yesterday, the Environment session was held in the afternoon, marking the end of the first day of meetings.

The Italian Ministry of Environment and Energy Security delegation, led by Minister Pichetto, Deputy Minister Gava, and Undersecretary Barbaro, is participating in the discussions. Technical meetings of working groups have been held in recent months to develop themes at the center of the discussion. In addition to ministerial representatives from several countries, key commissioners from the European Commission are also present. Representatives from various international institutions and organizations have been invited to take part in this summit, highlighting its global significance on environmental, energy, and climate issues.

Over 150 accredited information operators are present at Venaria Reale Media Center where discussions and decisions related to this G7 meeting are being communicated to the public.
