NovAtel’s Latest Application Suite Version 2.0 Includes GRIT Technology

NovAtel has recently released the NovAtel Application Suite Version 2.0, which now includes the GNSS Resilience and Integrity Technology (GRIT). This new technology allows users to detect and mitigate radio frequency (RF) interference through the GRIT Monitor application. By providing a comprehensive dashboard, users can make informed decisions to ensure robust positioning.

The GRIT Monitor is the first RF interference software visualization tool that offers a real-time interface displaying all relevant data in a single dashboard view. It provides an overview of positioning and device status to help identify any interference detected. One of the key features of the GRIT Monitor is the interactive spectrum viewer, which displays all constellations and frequency bands, as well as a signal matrix showing the signal quality and interference status by frequency band and constellation. Additionally, there is a position overview map that shows the user’s position along with the location or source of interference.

The GRIT technology is available on all OEM7 GNSS receiver products, including individual cards and enclosures like smart antennas, PwrPak, and MarinePak. The new application suite version also supports MarinePak and includes additional Manage application functionality (previously known as Setup and Monitor).
